Leave Us A Note!
Palmer and I would like to thank all of our family and friends for the support and love. We are so excited to start our life together!
Our First Date

Our first date consisted of music and dessert. Palmer was in charge of planning the date and he had heard from his TA about an improv music show. We found this old building somewhere in Seattle and it looked like it was abandoned. Inside we were quite shocked to learn what was called "improv music" was really banging on bowls and scratching weird materials together. It was odd to say the least. After a few minutes into the first "song" I realized that it wasn't just an introduction and was a bit confused. During the break Palmer apologized and said it was not what he had planned. We ditched the show after intermission and went to The Dilettante, a cute little dessert shop on Broadway in Capitol Hill. We shared a yummy piece of cake. Palmer and I had a great time talking and Imri took this polaroid of us.
How We Met
Early February of 2007 Sarah Katjwik (a friend from church) asked me if I wanted to go on a blind date. She was dating Imri Larsen at the time and wanted to set up a double date with Imri's friend Palmer. I did not know who Palmer Weaver was, even though he went to to same church (he was in a different ward that met 2 hours after mine). We planned on going out friday February 16th, and I didn't think much of it. Valentine's Day was on a Wednesday and I ended up going with my friend Cassie Klingler to a singles Valentine's Day party entitled the Celebration of Celibation. The party was put on by a house of guys from the University 2nd Ward. Cassie and I headed upstairs to see what was going on when we ran into Palmer and Cassie introduced me to him. We made the connection that we were going on a blind date that friday. We had a great time at the party and were inseparable. Palmer pulled out his skills on the piano and played some songs for me. It was a nice introduction before the blind date.
